DAY 2 | Yangon City Tour
Meal: Breakfast, Dinner
Breakfast is at hotel. We start the tour at 8.30am, visit the downtown area to see the Old City Hall, and Maharbandoola Park. Then stroll along the old street ending at the old Strand Hotel. Next, drive to Botahtaung Pagoda which features golden decorations inside. Continue to Bogyoke Market which sells many Burmese traditional handicrafts including stone, wood and bronze carvings, and much more. .In the afternoon, visit Kandawgyi Park near Chaukhtetgyi Reclining Buddha Image – one of the largest in Yangon. Continue to the highlight of Yangon: the golden Shwedagon Pagoda, which has been described as one of the wonders of the world. Shwedagon plays a very important role in the Old Burmese History and also is an important Buddhist icon. Enjoy the sunset over the pagoda.
Evening, we transfer you to have dinner at a selected local restaurant.

DAY 3 | Yangon – Flight to Heho, Inle Lake – Visit Htat Eian Cave
Meal: Breakfast
Breakfast is at hotel. Transfer to airport for onward flight to Heho where you will be picked up and transfer you to your hotel by the lakeside of Inle Lake. Inle Lake locates in the highland of Myanmar in an altitude of around 3,000 feet above sea level. Here you will enjoy different atmosphere and ambience from middle part of Myanmar. After check in hotel you will visit Htat Eian Cave the interesting cave with many deep passageways and numerous Buddha images there’s monk living there for praying and meditating. Also a monastery nearby and you can chat with the monks.

DAY 4 | Inle Lake – Indein – Inle Lake
Meal: Breakfast
Breakfast is at hotel. Full-day Sight-seeings of Inle Lake start with a morning 5-day traditional market at a village on the lake or on the shore of the lake. Here at Inle Lake, the markets come on 5-day basis. Besides the In thars, some tribal ladies such as Pa-O, Pa Laung can also be seen at the market selling their farm produce and afterwards they go back to their villages on the mountain with the purchase of what they need for the household. The market is a photo opportunity for you. Then visit the Phaung Daw Oo pagoda which is the Holiest Religious Stupa housing 5 Buddha images, Silk Weaving village (lotus fabrics weaving technique can also be seen unique only in here!), Blacksmith, Cheroot or Myanmar Cigar factory, the nature of In thars, Lake Residents with their Floating Garden.
Here you will also find the Long Neck ethnic people who move from Thai border to this village. Visit the Jumping Cat monastery which is the oldest one with antique Shan-style Buddhas and Buddhas’ alters. Enjoy the cat show at the monastery. In the afternoon, continue by boat to Indein Ruined Pagoda Complex along a small river that sustains Inle Lake by flowing into it. Passing the Large green Myanmar Bamboo forests on the way, you will reach the Ruined Indein pagodas that stand on the hill slope providing a panoramic view to the lake.

DAY 5 | Heho - Flight to Bagan & Bagan Temple Tour
Meal: Breakfast
Breakfast is at hotel. This morning, transfer by flight to Bagan. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for check in. This afternoon, explore Bagan. See its thousands of Buddhist pagodas spread in the valley of the Ancient City of Bagan. These pagodas were once owned by individual families during prosperous times. Visit the Nyaung Oo Market where locals buy and sell produce. Continue on to the Shwezigon Pagoda, the largest pagoda in Bagan painted with real gold. Then enjoy a Horse Cart Ride to the small village of Taung Phi for a view of a teak monastery Continue by horse cart around temples and winding roads as the sun makes it’s way to the sky’s edge casting curious shadows from the temples across the plain. Continue to Shwesandaw Pagoda. Watch one of the best sunsets in Southeast Asia before riding back to your hotel.

DAY 6 | Bagan – Mt. Popa – Bagan
Meal: Breakfast
Breakfast is at hotel. This morning start your scenic drive to Mount Popa, an extinct volcano with its golden shrines. Situated 50 km southeast of Bagan, this solitary peak showcases the Popa Taungkalat shrine, the favored home of Myanmar’s most powerful “Nats” (local spirits), statues of which can be found at its base. These spirits were once so important to the country’s early Kings that it was essential for them to consult the Nats before commencing their reign. The shrine is located at the top of the mountain, and if you have the energy, take off your shoes and socks to climb to the top (well worth the climb!) Along the way are a multitude of monkeys expecting treat! Along the way, stop by a local village to learn about local culture and lifestyle. Then enjoy lunch at a hill resort. On the way back visit a palm sugar workshop, where the harvested nectar from local trees is cooked into the sugar cubes we see in teashops today.
Overnight in Bagan
Optional: There is no better or more spectacular view of the ancient kingdom of Bagan than from a hot air balloon. This world-famous archaeological site of more than a thousand Buddhist temples scattered over a plain is at its best when seen from a bird’s eye vantage, as the sun comes up gently over the Ayeyarwady River. The extra cost is USD 320 per pax with Standard Service and USD 365 per pax with Premium Service.
DAY 7 | Bagan – Drive to Mandalay & Mandalay Tour
Meal: Breakfast
Breakfast is at hotel. Today, you will drive from Bagan to Mandalay. You will arrive at Mandalay in the afternoon. This afternoon, we’ll visit Mahamuni Pogada, 13ft-high sated Buddha image which is one of Myanmar’s most famous. Continue your tour of Mandalay with a visit to Kuthodaw Pagoda, whose 729 marble stone slabs of Buddhist scriptures have earned it the title ‘World’s Biggest Book’. Continue to Shwenandaw Monastery, the only remaining building from the 19th century Royal Palace. This grand teak building is known for its exquisite woodcarving. Head to the top of Mandalay Hill as the sun begins to set to enjoy magnificent views of the city and Irrawaddy River.

DAY 8 | Mandalay - Amarapura – Mingun
Meal: Breakfast, Dinner
Breakfast is at hotel. After having breakfast, we drive to Amarapura, a former capital whose name means ‘City of Immortality’. First visit a silk weaving workshop which produces exquisite handmade products and then visit Mahagandayon monastery, when over one-thousand monks reside. After touring this tranquil site, continue to U Bein Bridge, the world’s longest and 200 year-old teak bridge. Enjoy a stroll along the bridge and the fabulous views of the surrounding farms and streams. Then, we’ll take a short river journey to visit Mingun Pagoda. Next, continue your visit to the world’s largest uncracked bell called Mingun Bell. Across the road, you can visit a Buddish nursing home for family-less elderly folk which is always glad of donations (Donation is own account).
Evening, we transfer you to have dinner at a selected local restaurant.

DAY 9 | Mandalay – Flight to Vientiane, Laos

Breakfast is at hotel. Simply enjoy the rest of your time in Mandalay before transferring to airport for flight departure to Vientiane, Laos. Meet our tour guide upon your arrival then transfer directly to hotel for check in.

DAY 10 | Buddha Park & Vientiane City Tour
Meal: Breakfast, Dinner
Breakfast is at hotel. We set off with 25km to the impressive Buddha Park (or Xieng Khuan) situates along the Mekong River, the park contains more than 200 religious Hindus & Buddha images, the notable reclining Buddha, the park comes with three interesting stories representing three levels – Hell, Earth and Heaven. We unlock the interesting history, stroll around to take picturesque photos of various sculptures.
Afternoon, we enjoy a city tour of Vientiane. First we will visit Wat Si Saket – the oldest temple in city then move to Wat Phra Kaew, formerly built in 1565 to house the Emerald Buddha, now it houses a small museum of religious art. Resume visit the famous That Luang with the gold-covered stupas and admired by Patuxai Monument – the most prominent landmark in the city. Next, we explore Central Markets of Talad Sao and the well-known weaving village of Ban Nong Bonathong.
Evening, we transfer you to have dinner at a selected local restaurant.
Overnight in Vientiane
DAY 11 | Vientiane to Vang Vieng & Sunset on Nam Song River
Meal: Breakfast
Breakfast is at hotel. We check out then our escort guide and driver transfer you at 8.30am towards Vang Vieng, a small town on the banks of the Nam Song River surrounded by spectacular limestone karst scenery. Stop in Kasi, a fruit growing area along the way. This journey takes you about 5 hours through spectacular scenery and you might want to stop regularly for photos. Please be aware that there are numerous sharp bends and you will climb/descend a lot of mountains along the way.
Check in and have free time in the afternoon.
Evening, we leave hotel and take a local boat which slowly cruises on Nam Song River you gain amazing mountainous views of limestone formation while watching the the spectacular sunset.
Overnight in Vang Vieng
DAY 12 | Vang Vieng – Vang Vieng Caves & Overland to Luang Prabang
Meal: Breakfast
Breakfast is at hotel. We say goodbye to Vang Vieng and drive with 5 hours to Luang Prabang – This ancient pearl city locates in the center of Northern Laos, lies in a valley at the confluence of the Mekong and Nam Khan rivers.
The journey passes countryside admired by beautiful rural landscapes. Stop at Tham Chang Cave & visit Tham Jang cave to discover the mystery of interesting Vang Vieng Caves before heading directly to your hotel in Luang Prabang. Have your own free time after check in.

DAY 13 | Pak Ou Caves & Luang Prabang Tour
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch
Breakfast is at hotel. We depart hotel at 8.00am to explore the mystery of Pak Ou Caves where you will see hundreds of sacred Buddha statues, lacquered in gold in different shapes. Embark the boat cruising along the great Mekong River, passing the stunning nature, from the distance, you will see the limestone cliffs where we disembark to discover the hidden Pak Ou Caves. Learn from your guide about religious story and wander to capture photos of the impressive Buddha images. Return and admired by Lao rice wine, paper wood handicraft & observe silk weaving. Have lunch at a selected local restaurant.
Afternoon, visit the notable Royal Palace Museum which dates from the early 20th century and it’s a good chance for you to learn more about Lao culture and history. Next, wander around Wat Xieng Thong with its important history& its characteristic Luang Prabang style. Near the end of the day, we climb to the top of Mount Phousi to watch spectacular sunset over Luang Prabang & the Mekong.

DAY 14 | Alms Ceremony & Easy Trek to Kuang Si Waterfall
Meal: Breakfast, Dinner
Breakfast is at hotel. Today we rise a bit early to observe or participate in this serene Buddhist ritual of almsgiving, known as “Tak Bat”. Luang Prabang’s many monastic communities are sustained by the local Buddhists who place sticky rice in the monks’ bowls during the daily ritual then return back to hotel for breakfast.
We leave again to Ban Xeng Mouk village where our trekking tour starts with a visit to the ethnic Khmu village of Ban Longlao Nung before heading to the nearby Hmong village of Ban Longlao Song and witness their daily lifestyle. Continue trekking through rice paddies, vegetable fields and mountainous forest towards Kuang Si waterfalls – a beautiful pool full of sacred fishes which can be seen in this crystal water. We descend from the top of the waterfall to find a spot for having lunch (own account) amongst beautiful settings.
After lunch break, enjoy swimming, bathing and cooling down for a few hours before walking down the jungle trails to visit black bear sanctuary (included) and witness how it’s being protected as well as taking some photos of beautiful pools of Kuang Si Waterfalls at Khmu village. Return for refreshment then transfer to have delicious dinner at a selected local restaurant before strolling at Luang Prabang night market for shopping.

DAY 15 | Luang Prabang – Flight to Siem Reap, Cambodia

Breakfast is at hotel. Enjoy the rest of your free time in Luang Prabang then transfer (no guide) to airport for flight departure to Siem Reap, Cambodia.

DAY 16 | Full Day Angkor Discovery
Meal: Breakfast
Breakfast is at hotel. We set off at 8.00am for full day guided Angkor exploration, start with the south gate of Angkor Thom atop 4 giant faces, stroll to explore Bayon temple consisting of more than 200 smiling faces in stone, admired by interesting temples including Baphuon, Phimeanakas, terrace of leper king, terrace of elephant & Ta Prohm temple adorned with the stunning tree roots where Lara Croft Tomb Raider was filmed.
After lunch, continue to witness the marvelous Angkor Wat – the world’s heritage listed by UNESCO in 1992 and the largest monument in the world. Unlock the amazing history, its ancestral incredible, architectural masterpieces and the finest carvings dates back to the Khmer Empire when it dominated the largest parts of Southeast Asia. Next, enjoy the hiking up to Phnom Bakheng to watch the spectacular sunset or alternatively go to Pre Rup temple as if Phnom Bakheng is always touristy.

DAY 17 | Local Market, Ox Cart Ride & Tonle Sap Lake
Meal: Breakfast, Dinner
Breakfast is at hotel. We set off at 8.00am to a nearby countryside where we will have a short visit at local market before experiencing the oxcart adventure through rural village to interact local people, see animals, fresh vegetable gardens and rice fields dotting with palm trees. Enjoy fresh coconut juice & tropical fruits at a host family’s house before heading to Kompong Phluk; one of the stilt house village located at the edge of Tonle Sap Lake. We process to embark a private sheltered boat, enjoy sightseeing along the canal before the excursion reaches the stilt houses. The boat slides slowly through high stilted houses, come across the highlight of fishing activities. Witness how life works on the water and how people make the lake as home. Resume by canoe to explore the mangrove forest with pleasant surroundings, we may see water-birds and monkeys before we dock to our regular boat to see the great lake of Tonle Sap, unlock Tonle Sap’s eco-system and its rich biosphere.
Evening, transfer to have set dinner followed by Apsara traditional dance performance at our selected local restaurant.

DAY 18 | Wildlife Sanctuary & Phnom Kulen Waterfall
Meal: Breakfast
Breakfast is at hotel. We set off at 7.40am, beyond Angkor complex to observe wildlife at Angkor Conservation Center Biodiversity (ACCB) at the foot of Kbal Spean hill. It’s where you have a guided tour around the center to discover endangered wildlife.
Next, we head to Phnom Kulen; one of Cambodia’s national parks that provides wonderful holiday and a great place to cool off. Phnom Kulen used to be the ancient capital city in 802AD – after King Jayavarman II was initiated as the royal “God of the King”. Enjoy the guided walking tour to visit Preah Ang Thom – the reclining giant Buddha statue. Continue to witness historical site of 1000 linga carvings under the riverbed, you also have a chance to see the sacred pool where the white clear water coming out of the ground all year round. Resume the walking or by car to the beautiful waterfall where we can refresh, bathe and go swimming under the waterfall for the rest of your free afternoon before returning hotel.

DAY 19 | Siem Reap – Flight to Phnom Penh & Phnom Penh Tour

Breakfast is at hotel. Enjoy the rest of your time in Siem Reap before transferring (no guide) to airport for flight departure to Phnom Penh Capital. You will be welcomed and picked up by our tour guide and driver from the airport then transfer directly to the hotel.
After check in, we drive to witness the tragic site of Cheung Ek, known as The Killing Fields where hundreds of Cambodian lives were proceeded between 1975 and 1979 under Khmer Rouge, connecting to the Tuol Sleng museum – a former high school that was turned into Tortured Prison S-21 and resume strolling around Russian market for shopping.

DAY 20 | Phnom Penh City Tour & Dinner Cruise
Meal: Breakfast, Dinner
Breakfast is at hotel. We set off at 8.30am to challenge a cyclo (rickshaw) for interesting highlights of Phnom Penh with Independent monument, resume the ride to central market to see daily life of trading then we ride along the riverside to visit the Royal Palace – is a complex of buildings which serves as the royal residence of the king of Cambodia, Silver Pagoda, Royal Stupas, French style building etc. Next, we enjoy guided orientation around Wat Phnom with interesting legendary of founding Phnom Penh Capital. Return hotel and have free time in the afternoon.
Evening at 4.45pm, we get on board, enjoy welcome cocktail while the boat cruise slowly takes you along Mekong & Tonle Sap River, view the spectacular sunset before having buffet dinner on board. Disembark and transfer back to hotel.

Breakfast is at hotel. We start the tour at 8.30am, visit the downtown area to see the Old City Hall, and Maharbandoola Park. Then stroll along the old street ending at the old Strand Hotel. Next, drive to Botahtaung Pagoda which features golden decorations inside. Continue to Bogyoke Market which sells many Burmese traditional handicrafts including stone, wood and bronze carvings, and much more. .In the afternoon, visit Kandawgyi Park near Chaukhtetgyi Reclining Buddha Image – one of the largest in Yangon. Continue to the highlight of Yangon: the golden Shwedagon Pagoda, which has been described as one of the wonders of the world. Shwedagon plays a very important role in the Old Burmese History and also is an important Buddhist icon. Enjoy the sunset over the pagoda.Evening, we transfer you to have dinner at a selected local restaurant.

DAY 3 | Yangon – Flight to Heho, Inle Lake – Visit Htat Eian Cave

Breakfast is at hotel. Transfer to airport for onward flight to Heho where you will be picked up and transfer you to your hotel by the lakeside of Inle Lake. Inle Lake locates in the highland of Myanmar in an altitude of around 3,000 feet above sea level. Here you will enjoy different atmosphere and ambience from middle part of Myanmar. After check in hotel you will visit Htat Eian Cave the interesting cave with many deep passageways and numerous Buddha images there’s monk living there for praying and meditating. Also a monastery nearby and you can chat with the monks.

Breakfast is at hotel. Full-day Sight-seeings of Inle Lake start with a morning 5-day traditional market at a village on the lake or on the shore of the lake. Here at Inle Lake, the markets come on 5-day basis. Besides the In thars, some tribal ladies such as Pa-O, Pa Laung can also be seen at the market selling their farm produce and afterwards they go back to their villages on the mountain with the purchase of what they need for the household. The market is a photo opportunity for you. Then visit the Phaung Daw Oo pagoda which is the Holiest Religious Stupa housing 5 Buddha images, Silk Weaving village (lotus fabrics weaving technique can also be seen unique only in here!), Blacksmith, Cheroot or Myanmar Cigar factory, the nature of In thars, Lake Residents with their Floating Garden.Here you will also find the Long Neck ethnic people who move from Thai border to this village. Visit the Jumping Cat monastery which is the oldest one with antique Shan-style Buddhas and Buddhas’ alters. Enjoy the cat show at the monastery. In the afternoon, continue by boat to Indein Ruined Pagoda Complex along a small river that sustains Inle Lake by flowing into it. Passing the Large green Myanmar Bamboo forests on the way, you will reach the Ruined Indein pagodas that stand on the hill slope providing a panoramic view to the lake.

DAY 5 | Heho - Flight to Bagan & Bagan Temple Tour

Breakfast is at hotel. This morning, transfer by flight to Bagan. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for check in. This afternoon, explore Bagan. See its thousands of Buddhist pagodas spread in the valley of the Ancient City of Bagan. These pagodas were once owned by individual families during prosperous times. Visit the Nyaung Oo Market where locals buy and sell produce. Continue on to the Shwezigon Pagoda, the largest pagoda in Bagan painted with real gold. Then enjoy a Horse Cart Ride to the small village of Taung Phi for a view of a teak monastery Continue by horse cart around temples and winding roads as the sun makes it’s way to the sky’s edge casting curious shadows from the temples across the plain. Continue to Shwesandaw Pagoda. Watch one of the best sunsets in Southeast Asia before riding back to your hotel.

Breakfast is at hotel. This morning start your scenic drive to Mount Popa, an extinct volcano with its golden shrines. Situated 50 km southeast of Bagan, this solitary peak showcases the Popa Taungkalat shrine, the favored home of Myanmar’s most powerful “Nats” (local spirits), statues of which can be found at its base. These spirits were once so important to the country’s early Kings that it was essential for them to consult the Nats before commencing their reign. The shrine is located at the top of the mountain, and if you have the energy, take off your shoes and socks to climb to the top (well worth the climb!) Along the way are a multitude of monkeys expecting treat! Along the way, stop by a local village to learn about local culture and lifestyle. Then enjoy lunch at a hill resort. On the way back visit a palm sugar workshop, where the harvested nectar from local trees is cooked into the sugar cubes we see in teashops today.

This world-famous archaeological site of more than a thousand Buddhist temples scattered over a plain is at its best when seen from a bird’s eye vantage, as the sun comes up gently over the Ayeyarwady River. DAY 7 | Bagan – Drive to Mandalay & Mandalay Tour

Breakfast is at hotel. Today, you will drive from Bagan to Mandalay. You will arrive at Mandalay in the afternoon. This afternoon, we’ll visit Mahamuni Pogada, 13ft-high sated Buddha image which is one of Myanmar’s most famous. Continue your tour of Mandalay with a visit to Kuthodaw Pagoda, whose 729 marble stone slabs of Buddhist scriptures have earned it the title ‘World’s Biggest Book’. Continue to Shwenandaw Monastery, the only remaining building from the 19th century Royal Palace. This grand teak building is known for its exquisite woodcarving. Head to the top of Mandalay Hill as the sun begins to set to enjoy magnificent views of the city and Irrawaddy River.

Breakfast is at hotel. After having breakfast, we drive to Amarapura, a former capital whose name means ‘City of Immortality’. First visit a silk weaving workshop which produces exquisite handmade products and then visit Mahagandayon monastery, when over one-thousand monks reside. After touring this tranquil site, continue to U Bein Bridge, the world’s longest and 200 year-old teak bridge. Enjoy a stroll along the bridge and the fabulous views of the surrounding farms and streams. Then, we’ll take a short river journey to visit Mingun Pagoda. Next, continue your visit to the world’s largest uncracked bell called Mingun Bell. Across the road, you can visit a Buddish nursing home for family-less elderly folk which is always glad of donations (Donation is own account).Evening, we transfer you to have dinner at a selected local restaurant.

Breakfast is at hotel. We set off with 25km to the impressive Buddha Park (or Xieng Khuan) situates along the Mekong River, the park contains more than 200 religious Hindus & Buddha images, the notable reclining Buddha, the park comes with three interesting stories representing three levels – Hell, Earth and Heaven. We unlock the interesting history, stroll around to take picturesque photos of various sculptures.Afternoon, we enjoy a city tour of Vientiane. First we will visit Wat Si Saket – the oldest temple in city then move to Wat Phra Kaew, formerly built in 1565 to house the Emerald Buddha, now it houses a small museum of religious art. Resume visit the famous That Luang with the gold-covered stupas and admired by Patuxai Monument – the most prominent landmark in the city. Next, we explore Central Markets of Talad Sao and the well-known weaving village of Ban Nong Bonathong.
Evening, we transfer you to have dinner at a selected local restaurant.

DAY 11 | Vientiane to Vang Vieng & Sunset on Nam Song River
Meal: Breakfast
Breakfast is at hotel. We check out then our escort guide and driver transfer you at 8.30am towards Vang Vieng, a small town on the banks of the Nam Song River surrounded by spectacular limestone karst scenery. Stop in Kasi, a fruit growing area along the way. This journey takes you about 5 hours through spectacular scenery and you might want to stop regularly for photos. Please be aware that there are numerous sharp bends and you will climb/descend a lot of mountains along the way.Check in and have free time in the afternoon.
Evening, we leave hotel and take a local boat which slowly cruises on Nam Song River you gain amazing mountainous views of limestone formation while watching the the spectacular sunset.

DAY 12 | Vang Vieng – Vang Vieng Caves & Overland to Luang Prabang

We say goodbye to Vang Vieng and drive with 5 hours to Luang Prabang – This ancient pearl city locates in the center of Northern Laos, lies in a valley at the confluence of the Mekong and Nam Khan rivers.The journey passes countryside admired by beautiful rural landscapes. Stop at Tham Chang Cave & visit Tham Jang cave to discover the mystery of interesting Vang Vieng Caves before heading directly to your hotel in Luang Prabang. Have your own free time after check in.

DAY 13 | Pak Ou Caves & Luang Prabang Tour
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch
Breakfast is at hotel. We depart hotel at 8.00am to explore the mystery of Pak Ou Caves where you will see hundreds of sacred Buddha statues, lacquered in gold in different shapes. Embark the boat cruising along the great Mekong River, passing the stunning nature, from the distance, you will see the limestone cliffs where we disembark to discover the hidden Pak Ou Caves. Learn from your guide about religious story and wander to capture photos of the impressive Buddha images. Return and admired by Lao rice wine, paper wood handicraft & observe silk weaving. Have lunch at a selected local restaurant.Afternoon, visit the notable Royal Palace Museum which dates from the early 20th century and it’s a good chance for you to learn more about Lao culture and history. Next, wander around Wat Xieng Thong with its important history& its characteristic Luang Prabang style. Near the end of the day, we climb to the top of Mount Phousi to watch spectacular sunset over Luang Prabang & the Mekong.
Overnight in Luang Prabang.DAY 14 | Alms Ceremony & Easy Trek to Kuang Si Waterfall

Breakfast is at hotel. Today we rise a bit early to observe or participate in this serene Buddhist ritual of almsgiving, known as “Tak Bat”. Luang Prabang’s many monastic communities are sustained by the local Buddhists who place sticky rice in the monks’ bowls during the daily ritual then return back to hotel for breakfast.We leave again to Ban Xeng Mouk village where our trekking tour starts with a visit to the ethnic Khmu village of Ban Longlao Nung before heading to the nearby Hmong village of Ban Longlao Song and witness their daily lifestyle. Continue trekking through rice paddies, vegetable fields and mountainous forest towards Kuang Si waterfalls – a beautiful pool full of sacred fishes which can be seen in this crystal water. We descend from the top of the waterfall to find a spot for having lunch (own account) amongst beautiful settings.
After lunch break, enjoy swimming, bathing and cooling down for a few hours before walking down the jungle trails to visit black bear sanctuary (included) and witness how it’s being protected as well as taking some photos of beautiful pools of Kuang Si Waterfalls at Khmu village. Return for refreshment then transfer to have delicious dinner at a selected local restaurant before strolling at Luang Prabang night market for shopping.

We set off at 8.00am for full day guided Angkor exploration, start with the south gate of Angkor Thom atop 4 giant faces, stroll to explore Bayon temple consisting of more than 200 smiling faces in stone, admired by interesting temples including Baphuon, Phimeanakas, terrace of leper king, terrace of elephant & Ta Prohm temple adorned with the stunning tree roots where Lara Croft Tomb Raider was filmed.After lunch, continue to witness the marvelous Angkor Wat – the world’s heritage listed by UNESCO in 1992 and the largest monument in the world. Unlock the amazing history, its ancestral incredible, architectural masterpieces and the finest carvings dates back to the Khmer Empire when it dominated the largest parts of Southeast Asia. Next, enjoy the hiking up to Phnom Bakheng to watch the spectacular sunset or alternatively go to Pre Rup temple as if Phnom Bakheng is always touristy.

DAY 17 | Local Market, Ox Cart Ride & Tonle Sap Lake

We set off at 8.00am to a nearby countryside where we will have a short visit at local market before experiencing the oxcart adventure through rural village to interact local people, see animals, fresh vegetable gardens and rice fields dotting with palm trees. Enjoy fresh coconut juice & tropical fruits at a host family’s house before heading to Kompong Phluk; one of the stilt house village located at the edge of Tonle Sap Lake. We process to embark a private sheltered boat, enjoy sightseeing along the canal before the excursion reaches the stilt houses. The boat slides slowly through high stilted houses, come across the highlight of fishing activities. Witness how life works on the water and how people make the lake as home. Resume by canoe to explore the mangrove forest with pleasant surroundings, we may see water-birds and monkeys before we dock to our regular boat to see the great lake of Tonle Sap, unlock Tonle Sap’s eco-system and its rich biosphere.Evening, transfer to have set dinner followed by Apsara traditional dance performance at our selected local restaurant.

DAY 18 | Wildlife Sanctuary & Phnom Kulen Waterfall

Breakfast is at hotel. We set off at 7.40am, beyond Angkor complex to observe wildlife at Angkor Conservation Center Biodiversity (ACCB) at the foot of Kbal Spean hill. It’s where you have a guided tour around the center to discover endangered wildlife.Next, we head to Phnom Kulen; one of Cambodia’s national parks that provides wonderful holiday and a great place to cool off. Phnom Kulen used to be the ancient capital city in 802AD – after King Jayavarman II was initiated as the royal “God of the King”. Enjoy the guided walking tour to visit Preah Ang Thom – the reclining giant Buddha statue. Continue to witness historical site of 1000 linga carvings under the riverbed, you also have a chance to see the sacred pool where the white clear water coming out of the ground all year round. Resume the walking or by car to the beautiful waterfall where we can refresh, bathe and go swimming under the waterfall for the rest of your free afternoon before returning hotel.
