Wildlife Sanctuary, Kbal Spean and Banteay Srei 1 Day
It’s the best suited for those who really like to expand their adventure day to observe and learn more about the endangered wildlife at Angkor Centre for Conservation of Biodiversity then enjoy a short hike to the riverbed of 1000 lingas, admired by the intricately carved, pink sandstone Banteay Sreai temple.
Place You Visit: Siem Reap
Our guide and driver will be meeting you at your hotel’s lobby at 7.30am then we drive beyond Angkor complex to wildlife sanctuary of Angkor Conservation Center Biodiversity (ACCB) at the foot of Kbal Spean hill. It’s where you have a guided tour around the center to discover endangered wildlife such as greater adjutants, gibbons, Malayan Pangolin etc. Continuously, we hike up to visit the series of stone rock relief carvings in sandstone formations of the river bed “Valley of a 1000 Lingas”. Nearby the riverbed, we will see the small waterfall (seasonal) where you can have a quick bath to cool down if you want.
Afternoon, continue to explore the intricately carved, beautiful pink sandstone temple of Banteay Srei – considered to be a Jewel of Khmer art which features elaborate decorations and fine details. These factors have made the temple extremely popular with tourists, and have led to its being widely praised as a “precious gem”. On the way back, we have a short observation at palm sugar village and other various local handicrafts before we transfer back to hotel and end of service.
