Kbal Spean, Banteay Srei & Beng Mealea Tour 1 Day
This is a great outlying adventure, combined of 3 interesting, popular spots. Have a short hike at Kbal Spean to reveal river bed of 1000 linga carvings, continue to visit the most intricately carved Banteay Srei temple and experience amazing adventure at the lost temple “Beng Mealea”.
Place You Visit: Siem Reap
You will be greeted by our guide and driver at your hotel’s lobby at 7.30am, drive beyond Angkor complex, passing beautiful countryside before we arrive at the foothill of Kbal Spean. Continuously, we hike up to visit the series of stone rock relief carvings in sandstone formations of the river bed “Valley of a 1000 Lingas”. Nearby the riverbed, we will see the small waterfall where you can have a quick bath to cool down if you want (waterfall is seasonal). Return to our car then drive to explore the intricately carved, beautiful pink sandstone temple of Banteay Srei – considered to be a Jewel of Khmer art which features elaborate decorations and fine details.
Afternoon, drive to Beng Mealea then walk within the lush jungle to explore the lost temple “Beng Mealea”. Since the temple was constructed during the reign of king Suryavarman II in the early 12th century until then it’s never been restored again. It provides wonderful adventure which you’re going to climb over/down the ruined rocks, walking into the gallery to unlock the carvings and its interesting history of the Hindu temple related Angkor time. We then tranquilly capture picturesque photos before heading back to hotel.

When is the best time to visit?
The best time for this adventure tour is from November to February when the weather is a bit cool and everything looks green, and fresh. Due to the distance, Beng Mealea and Kbal Spean are always less touristy but Banteay Srei is crowded.
Dressing code & What to bring along?
Dressing must be appropriately covered shoulders & knees, this is to show your respect to the locals and active sites. Strong footwear is extremely advised for this trip and should bring along hat, sun cream, sunglasses, insect repellent and extra water to dehydrate due to humidity.
Payment Method & Cancellation
Upfront payment is not required once you confirmed the trip. The payment will be settled in US dollar on the touring day before the tour starts. However, paying by credit card is available through our PayWay online system if you wish to pay in advance but 3.7% is surcharged as bank’s policy.
Any cancellation is made less than 48 – 24 hours, 50% of total amount is charged and less than 24 hours is 100% charged, and the cancellation fee will be collected from you at your hotel.
