You will be greeted by our tour guide and driver at your hotel’s lobby at 7.30am then we drive out of the hassle city, passing beautiful countryside before arriving at Phnom Kulen. Phnom Kulen is one of Cambodia’s national parks that provides wonderful adventure & leisure day trip and also a great place to cool off under its falls. We’ll have a guided walking tour to visit Preah Ang Thom – the reclining giant reclining Buddha statue. Witness historical site of 1000 linga carvings and see the sacred pool. Resume the walking tour to the beautiful clear waterfall where we can refresh, bathe and swim.
Afternoon, drive to Beng Mealea then walk within the lush jungle to explore the lost temple “Beng Mealea”. Since the temple was constructed during the reign of king Suryavarman II in the early 12th century until then it’s never been restored again. It provides wonderful adventure which you’re going to climb over/down the ruined rocks, walking into the gallery to unlock the carvings and its interesting history of the Hindu temple related Angkor time. We then tranquilly capture picturesque photos before transferring back to hotel and end of service.

This tour is required valid valid Angkor ticket which can be purchased ($37/pax) directly at the booth on the way to the temple and our tour guide will assist you with this. To save the cost, you should buy 3-day Angkor ticket on the day you’re going to visit the main Angkor temples.

When is the best time to visit?
The best time to Phnom Kulen & Beng Mealea is from November to February when the weather is a bit cool and everything looks green, and fresh. Phnom Kulen is usually touristy especially on weekend and public holiday while Beng Mealea isn’t always crowded. Beng Mealea is not suggested during the rainy season from July to mid October because it will be slippery when it gets wet.
Dressing code & What to bring along?
Dressing must be appropriately covered shoulders & knees, this is to show your respect to the locals and active sites. Strong footwear is extremely advised for this trip and should bring along hat, sun cream, sunglasses, insect repellent and extra water to dehydrate due to humidity. Should bring extra clothes and flip flop when you want to cool off under the waterfall and swimming around. Clothes are also available for rent at the site.
Payment Method & Cancellation
Upfront payment is not required once you confirmed the trip. The payment will be settled in US dollar on the touring day before the tour starts. However, paying by credit card is available through our PayWay online system if you wish to pay in advance but 3.7% is surcharged as bank’s policy.
Any cancellation is made less than 48 – 24 hours, 50% of total amount is charged and less than 24 hours is 100% charged, and the cancellation fee will be collected from you at your hotel.
