1 Day Bike Tour Angkor Wat
Cycling to visit spectacular Angkor is a great way to experience Angkor temples without hassle, perfectly enjoy the gentle pace among Angkor jungle to reveal its incredible masterpieces, ride along the great wall of Angkor Thom to unlock Bayon temple with more than 200 faces, Ta Prohm and the marvelous Angkor Wat temple.

Meet our tour guide and bike team at your hotel then get a brief safety introduction. We begin cycling out of the hassle Siem Reap with interesting highlights. Enjoy the gentle pace within Angkor jungle to the South Gate of Angkor Thom, was the last and most enduring capital city of the Khmer Empire. Stop for taking photos with the picturesque background of god/demon balustrades of The South Gate before we begin riding along Angkor Thom’s wall which is enhanced by peaceful moat where we stop to take photos then continue to the west gate. Next, we visit Bayon temple consisting of more than 200 smiling faces in stone and stroll around some of interesting small temples such as the terrace of elephants, the terrace of the leper King, Baphuon and Phimeanakas. Continue the ride, walk the bike across the iron bridge to unlock the intertwined Ta Prohm jungle temple adorned by stunning tree roots, and where Lara Croft – Tomb Raider was filmed.
Afternoon, we cycle to visit the largest religious monument “Angkor Wat”, also well-known as the 7th Wonder of the World’s. This incredible complex was originally constructed as a Hindu temple of god Vishnu for the Khmer Empire, gradually transforming into a Buddhist temple toward the end of the 12th century. We have a guided walking tour in this monument to witness the greatest history of the Khmer Empire, observe the unique architecture, styles, masterpieces, decoration and so on. We cycle back to the hotel or take our support van if you don’t want to ride.

Why This Private Tour!
This is the private day trip that offers the most flexible and 100% free hassle to ensure that it meets your travel schedule and your tour departure time. The suggestion of tour depart time is listed in the itinerary detail but you can make your tour departure early or later upon your request because it is private trip and only there is only you on this tour. You will have your own private experienced tour guide and driver who will be taking care of you. Importantly, they are well trained, licensed, experienced, informative, knowledgeable and friendly. All tour services are definitely offered as we mentioned in the itinerary and there is no hidden cost at all.
Note: We don’t use bike truck (carry the bikes) for group size 1-2pax, bikes will be loaded into the support van whenever you don’t want to ride. To make sure the tour running smoothly, we will provide a support staff for a group size from 7pax up – meaning you will have 1 tour guide & 1 support staff looking after you when on the tour. Our tour guide always carries first-aid kit in case you fall off and get scratches.
When is the best time to visit?
The best time to visit Angkor temples is from November to February when the weather is a bit cool and everything looks green, and fresh. However it’s the busy time of the year. March to June is another option but it is not comfortable due to the heat while rainy season July to mid October is an alternative if you don’t want to see the crowds.
Dressing code & What to bring along?
You will not be allowed to access the top part of Angkor Wat if you don’t dress appropriately. Dressing must be appropriately covered shoulders & knees, this is to show your respect to the locals and active shrine on the top part. Strong footwear is extremely advised and should bring along hat, sun cream, sunglasses, insect repellent and extra water to dehydrate due to humidity.
Payment Method & Cancellation
Upfront payment is not required once you confirmed the trip. The payment will be settled in US dollar on the touring day before the tour starts. However, paying by credit card is available through our PayWay online system if you wish to pay in advance but 3.7% is surcharged as bank’s policy.
Any cancellation is made less than 48 – 24 hours, 50% of total amount is charged and less than 24 hours is 100% charged, and the cancellation fee will be collected from you at your hotel.
