DAY 1 | Cheung Ek Killing Field, Phnom Penh Tour & Sunset Cruise
Meal: Buffet Dinner Cruise
Our tour guide and driver will be meeting you at your hotel’s lobby at 8.00am then we drive to witness the tragic site of Cheung Ek, known as The Killing Fields where hundreds of Cambodian lives were proceeded between 1975 and 1979 under Khmer Rouge, connecting to the Tuol Sleng museum – a former high school that was turned into Tortured Prison S-21 and resume strolling around Russian market for shopping.

Afternoon, continue to visit the National Museum; the world’s most important collection of Khmer sculpture and carvings. Then we enjoy guided orientation around Wat Phnom with interesting legendary of founding Phnom Penh Capital.

Evening at 4.30pm, we get on board, enjoy welcome cocktail while the boat cruise slowly takes you along Mekong & Tonle Sap River, view the spectacular sunset before having buffet dinner on board. Disembark and transfer back to hotel.

DAY 2 | Phnom Penh Tour By Cyclo & Boat Trip to Silk Island
Meal: Lunch
We set off at 8.00am to challenge a cyclo (rickshaw) for interesting highlights of Phnom Penh with Independent monument, resume the ride to central market to see daily life of trading then we ride along the riverside to visit the Royal Palace – is a complex of buildings which serves as the royal residence of the king of Cambodia, Silver Pagoda, Royal Stupas, French style building etc. Have Khmer set lunch at a selected local restaurant.

Afternoon, we’re heading by mini-van to boat pier where we embark a local boat then the boat cruises along the Mekong River toward Silk Island (Koh Dach) where we disembark and take tuk tuk to see various colorful silk products and observe traditional silk weaving by hand looms. The fantastic sightseeing takes you through the local community overlooking Mekong, passing fruit orchards, vibrant vegetable gardens and stilt houses. Continue to visit a small historical Wat and local school before catching the boat returning to Phnom Penh.

Transfer back to your hotel.

When is the best time to visit?

The best time to visit Phnom Penh is from November to February when the weather is a bit cool. However Phnom Penh is the main capital city of Cambodia, it is always crowded. March to June is another option but it is not comfortable due to the heat while rainy season July to mid October is an alternative.

Dressing code & What to bring along?

You will not be allowed to enter The Royal Palace if you don’t dress appropriately. Dressing must be appropriately covered shoulders & knees, this is to show your respect to the locals and The Royal’s Residence. Strong footwear is recommended for the tour and should bring along hat, sun cream, sunglasses and extra water to dehydrate due to humidity.

Payment Method & Cancellation

Upfront payment is not required once you confirmed the trip. The payment will be settled in US dollar on the touring day before the tour starts. However, paying by credit card is available through our PayWay online system if you wish to pay in advance but 3.7% is surcharged as bank’s policy.

Any cancellation is made less than 48 – 24 hours, 50% of total amount is charged and less than 24 hours is 100% charged,  and the cancellation fee will be collected from you at your hotel.
