DAY 2 | Full Day Angkor Discovery

Breakfast is at hotel. Our tour guide and driver will be meeting you at your hotel’s lobby at 8.00am then we’re heading out to visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, was the last and most enduring capital city of the Khmer Empire. The gate is atop 4 giant smiling faces then particularly visit Bayon temple consisting of more than 200 smiling faces in stone and admired by interesting surroundings such as the terrace of elephants, the terrace of the leper King, Baphuon and Phimeanakas. Continue to reveal the intertwined Ta Prohm jungle temple adorned by the stunning tree roots, and where Lara Croft – Tomb Raider was filmed.
Enjoy Khmer set lunch at Anachak air conditioning restaurant.
Afternoon, we visit the magnificent Angkor Wat – the largest religious monument, also well-known as the 7th Wonder of the World’s. This incredible complex was originally constructed as a Hindu temple of god Vishnu for the Khmer Empire, gradually transforming into a Buddhist temple toward the end of the 12th century. We unlock the greatest history, observe the unique architecture, styles, decoration and so on. Resume visit beautiful sunset at Phnom Bakheng (limited allowance & touristy) or go to Pre Rup temple for sunset or skip it if you feel tire.

DAY 3 | Sunrise Angkor Wat, Bantreay Srei Temple & Grand Circuit
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch
Our guide and driver will be meeting you at 5.00am at the hotel’s lobby then we drive within Angkor jungle to Angkor Wat temple where we wait to watch the spectacular sunrise over Angkor Wat towers and capture its beautiful sunrise reflection at the lotus pond.
Continue driving to Preak Dak village to observe locals making vermicelli in traditional way and you’ll have chance to enjoy this famous Khmer vermicelli soup with your choices of fresh vegetables for breakfast. After having breakfast, we visit the serenity of Banteay Samre temple that was constructed in mid of 12th Century. Next, we journey out to explore the intricately carved, beautiful pink sandstone temple of Banteay Srei – considered to be a Jewel of Khmer art which features elaborate decorations and fine details. These factors have made the temple extremely popular with tourists, and have led to its being widely praised as a “precious gem”. On the way back, we have a short visit at palm sugar village and other various local handicrafts.
Enjoy Cambodian set lunch at one of our selected local restaurants.
Afternoon, we explore the Grand Circuit of Angkor Complex where there are still some main Angkorian temples to be discovered including Srah Srang (Royal Basin), Banteay Kdei, Ta Keo, Preah Khan (Royal Sword), Ta Som, Neak Pean (Coiled Serpents), East Mebon and other interesting temples if you feel want to see more (or skip a few temples if you’re tired).

DAY 4 | Ox Cart Ride, Kompong Phluk Mangrove & Flight to Phnom Penh
Meal: Breakfast
Breakfast is at hotel. We set off at 8.00am (or 7.30am) to a nearby countryside for guided walking tour a local market before we get on the awaiting oxcart to experience a short oxcart adventure through rural village to interact local people, see animals, fresh vegetable gardens and rice fields dotting with palm trees. We end the oxcart ride at a family’s house where we enjoy fresh coconut juice & tropical fruits. Next, continue to Kompong Phluk; one of the stilt house village located at the edge of Tonle Sap Lake. We process to embark a private sheltered boat, enjoy sightseeing along the canal before the excursion reaches the stilt houses. The boat slides slowly through high stilted houses, come across the highlight of fishing activities. Witness how life works on the water and how people make the lake as home. Resume by canoe to explore the mangroves with pleasant surroundings, we may see water-birds and monkeys before we dock to our regular boat to see the great lake of Tonle Sap, unlock Tonle Sap’s eco-system and its rich biosphere.
Return hotel for the rest of your free time in Siem Reap before our guide and driver transfer directly to airport for flight departure to Phnom Penh Capital.

DAY 5 | Killing Field, Phnom Penh City Tour & Dinner Cruise
Meal: Breakfast, Dinner
Breakfast is at hotel. We leave hotel at 8.00am to witness the tragic site of Cheung Ek, known as The Killing Fields where hundreds of Cambodian lives were proceeded between 1975 and 1979 under Khmer Rouge, connecting to the Tuol Sleng museum – a former high school that was turned into Tortured Prison S-21 and resume strolling around Russian market for shopping.
Afternoon, continue to visit the National Museum; the world’s most important collection of Khmer sculpture and carvings. Then we enjoy guided orientation around Wat Phnom with interesting legendary of founding Phnom Penh Capital.
Evening at 4.30pm, we get on board, enjoy welcome cocktail while the boat cruise slowly takes you along Mekong & Tonle Sap River, view the spectacular sunset before having buffet dinner on board. Disembark and transfer back to hotel.

DAY 6 | Phnom Penh City Tour By Cyclo & Departure
Meal: Breakfast
Breakfast is at hotel. We set off at 8.30am to challenge a cyclo (rickshaw) for interesting highlights of Phnom Penh with Independent monument, resume the ride to central market to see daily life of trading then we ride along the riverside to visit the Royal Palace – is a complex of buildings which serves as the royal residence of the king of Cambodia, Silver Pagoda, Royal Stupas, French style building etc. Have lunch at a selected local restaurant by the riverside.
Return hotel and simply enjoy the rest of your time in Phnom Penh before transferring to airport for flight departure for your next destination.
